On the day Amazon (NASDAQ AMZN) is announcing its Kindle e-book reader and infrastructure, another Web company (well not exactly just another Web company!) is being associated with an "old media" category if in a much more speculative fashion. TechCrunchs Michael Arrington blogs about "Google Magazine", particularly a patent claimed by Google (NASDAQ GOOG) in 2006. Interesting thoughts on Googles interest on custom-content magazines including personalized ads.
